New Games for Wii U and 3DS

It was announced a while ago at E3 2011 that there will be two new Smash Bros. games for the Wii U and 3DS coming up in the distant future. Below are some quotes and links. I'll post news when more is known.

"Nintendo has also announced at their E3 2011 conference that they will be releasing a new Super Smash Bros. game on both the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, making it the first cross-platform and portable release in the series. Cross-compatibility between the Wii U and 3DS versions was also confirmed, but not explained how. Iwata also stated that Masahiro Sakurai is still in the final stages of development for Kid Icarus: Uprising, and has therefore not yet begun production on the next two Super Smash Bros. titles. Sakurai stated that the announcement was made public in order to attract developers needed for the game." - Wikipedia

"Nintendo confirmed today that a new version of Smash Bros. will be coming to both the 3DS and the newly announced Wii U. This announcement was audibly the most well-accepted of anything Nintendo said. Nothing was shown and no further details were revealed." - UK IGN

When more is known, I plan on sending newsletters out. You can sign up in a few seconds for the newsletter. I also plan on either making a new section for the site, or redesigning the site completely for the new games.

See you then!

Updates:

- Added a feature where your account gains one rupee every time you log-in, with a 5 day cool-down. Something small for showing up once in a while. Right now you can just buy Avatars and participate in the Betting Game with rupees.

- Completed the latest betting game match. It was Ike vs Peach, everybody bet on Ike (including me), and lost. :( To be fair, she used two Smash Balls and a lot of other items, cheater. :P

- Added a new page for the Wii U and 3DS games and put all the info I could find there. A lot is just rumors or unconfirmed, could and probably will change.

It's been so long! I was actually really happy to see that Peram posted something, even though it was minuscule. . . . and completely random. But what do you expect from Peram? Gotta love him, ya know?

I win.

Hey all. It's been almost 2 years since I've last posted. I went thru the site and cleaned up a lot of pages with broken links / images / videos, etc... I also completed the betting game match that had been sitting there for a while, and created a new one.

If there is any news or talk about another Super Smash Bros game in the future, I will be sure to post news updates here, and send newsletters out.

Have fun!

Hey, if you haven't noticed by now, the site itself has been dead for a while now, due to a series of events that mainly starts with me not having access to the main coding of the site, me not knowing how to code well, and Brian being gone.

However, the forum has been booming and bursting with activity and has recently gone under some big changes! The name may be different, but the great community is still the same! Make sure to check it out by clicking the "Forum" link under the "Other" category. Or, you can simply just click here!

We'll see ya on there!

Until Next Time!
