 | A new way to earn Rupees

Any member can now upload screenshots, and earn rupees by doing so!
To upload your screenshots, go to the User Control Panel, and click the "Upload Screenshots" button. A form will appear for you to fill out, with a help section at the top to explain how it works.
Your screenshot will not appear instantly. It will be reviewed by a staff member first, and either accepted or rejected. (Inappropriate image will be rejected) If it is accepted, you will earn some Rupees based on how good the screenshot is (size, quality, theme).
The screenshot will appear on the screenshots page, and any page where the tags are used (like the character pages.)
This is new, so if anybody has problems using the uploader, email me or PM me on the forum. Thanks.
Just a quick note: If you are looking for a snapshot decrypter, I like this one, and we have permission to link it here. You will need an SD card. There are two versions.

| Using Rupees, Screenshot uploads

The first thing you actually buy with rupees is up: more Avatars.
The 12 avatars that have been there for a while are still free for everyone, but now you can buy more of them with rupees. When you are logged in, you will see a form below each set of icons. If you click buy, it will subtract 5 rupees from your total (which you can view in the User Control Panel), and the rest of the icons for that set will appear. They have been randomly named so you can't guess the file names based on the free ones :)
I'm currently working on a public screenshot uploader, where any member will be able to get Rupees for uploading their screenshots. Uploaded screenshots will be reviewed by staff before appearing, and you will receive 1, 2, or 3 Rupees, based on how good the screenshot is.

| Site Cleanup

I've noticed that a lot of images on the site are broken, some images are old from when we didn't have good ones, and other things that need cleaned up. I've been working on fixing these up a bit today. Here's a list of things that've been fixed so far:
- Most images on character pages were broken because they were being called from other sites. Replaced all 37 of them with local site images.
- Some of the character thumbs were old (before we had good art from the official site). Replaced these 7 thumbs with new ones (these are also used in Betting Game.)
- Two of the videos and the audio section were not working. Got rid of audio for now, and replaced all of the videos with better ones.
- Removed a broken link on Links page.
- Created better thumbs and images for the 5 cut-out characters at bottom of characters page.

| Betting Game coming back...

The Betting Game is finally coming back!
This time there will be more than just 2 on 2 matches like I had in the old one. The Matches can be any combo possible with 2 to 4 CPU players, with both team matches and free-for-alls.
FalkonG4 will be in charge of posting results and setting up new matches every Friday night. The first match will probably be setup on Monday, when the link will appear in the Member Features menu. I will also send out a Newsletter at that time to all signed up members.
This is the first part of the site where you will be able to use your rupees. Each user starts out with 20 Rupees, which you can view in your Control Panel. The amount of Rupees that you can bet is limited to either 1, 5, 10, 20, or 50 (green, blue, yellow, red, and purple). This limit of 50 is to keep the numbers from going insanely high like in the old game, where people were able to bet anything and had points in the hundreds of thousands. Here it needs to be limited since you will be able to purchase other features with the Rupees.
I have a few plans already for things to use Rupees with. The first few things will be Betting Game related. I'm also looking for suggestions if anybody has them.

As some of you may know, Samus and the Metroid series just celebrated her 22nd Birthday!! So, in honor of this occasion this comming weeks I shall be releasing four strategies: Samus, Zero Suit Samus, Norfair, and Frigiate Operation.
Currently only the Zero Suit Strategy is up, you can find it by clicking on Samus on the Character Strategies section. From there you will be taken to a page to choose which form of Samus you want: Regular or Zero Suit.
I'd also like to take the time to thank Dobs on the forums for his help on the ZZS guide!
Expect a comment or another update later on.

I've added the 7th SSB comic, figured it was time after a long break.
I'll try and update more often, but since school starts in two weeks, don't expect alot.
Note: Comics have been on hiatus because of my lack of ideas. Sorry. Hopefully there will be a new one soon.
